I got some more info from Nemo regarding the energy farms: The lots don't lag on his 3-4 year-old laptop either, and to quote: "As for the lag at the beginning - this might be because I used Mootildas lot compressor to reduce the size of the package. It requires the lot to 'regenerate' some data first before it can be played again, so this might have been the reason."
